Assessments International, Inc. (AI). provides access to proprietary and 3rd party assessment products and services for use by client organizations. Assessments International is a service provider or Data Processor to its clients and our clients are Data Controllers.

Our goal is to adhere to policies that ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security for users of our assessments and services. Each of our employees has signed a statement to uphold confidentiality and non-disclosure. In order to provide a secure Internet experience for our clients, data transmissions over the Internet are encrypted using 256-bit https (secured hypertext transfer protocol) standards and the data is secured behind firewalls. Additionally, user names and passwords control access and/or administrative rights according to project specifications. Cookies are used to tie user requests together into a single session and are session cookies. No personal information is stored in cookies. When requested by clients, we will archive collected data and results for future comparative analysis. In the event that one of our clients requests that data is to be either returned or destroyed, we would immediately comply.

AI may obtain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for the purpose of administering assessments and assigning results. Assessment responses and reports are securely processed in the United States of America. The client, the Data Controller, should inform those taking an assessment what PII is collected, the basis for processing PII, the purpose and use of the assessment(s), entities that will have access to results, measures taken to protect PII and data, your rights to manage your PII, and the client GDPR representative and the client Data Protection Officer.

AI does not sell your data to third parties. The only parties who have access to your data are those who are engaged and necessary to fulfill the initiative. Your de-identified assessment data may be provided to the assessment publisher, included generically in research, combined in aggregate group reporting, and/or used to develop norm data for use in reporting.

Assessments International complies with EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and California Consumer Privacy Act.

AI remains liable under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) if the company’s third-party processor onward transfers recipient’s relevant personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) Principles, unless AI proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

We may disclose information in the following situations: (a) in response to a subpoena, court order or legal process, to the extent permitted and required by law; (b) to protect user security or the security of other persons, consistent with applicable laws; or (c) in connection with a sale, joint venture or other transfer to some or all of the assets of Assessments International Inc, in such cases AI will ensure that the agreed level of protection is fully continued.

Assessments International, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Assessments International, Inc. has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.
