The PROFILOR® is a 50-year research‑backed leadership development assessment that gathers multi‑rater feedback across various perspectives - self, managers, direct reports, and peers - to give leaders a clear view of strengths and development priorities. It’s available as both 180 degree (self + manager or self + direct/indirect reports) and 360 degree (multi‑rater) formats to fit your program’s goals. The PROFILOR® Align is a powerful 180-degree assessment between an individual and their manager, which is ideal when you need alignment on priorities. The PROFILOR® 360° option includes additional rater groups (e.g., direct reports, peers, secondary managers, customers where relevant) to provide more comprehensive feedback and targeted growth. The PROFILOR®  Elevate is an upward feedback process for leaders to gain perspective from their teams (direct and indirect reports).

As a leader moves from level to level, the titles of the 360 assessment competencies and how they are defined behaviorally may change, with the leadership 360 content reflecting these changes.

Yes. The PROFILOR® Align delivers 180-degree feedback (self and manager) when you want a faster, focused alignment on development priorities. The PROFILOR® Elevate allows for self and direct/indirect report feedback when you want to enhance leader awareness from those who work most closely with them. 

Yes. Our most recent validation study was completed in 2024 with our Mid-Level Leader database. In 2026, we completed a second validation study with our Senior Executive database. We also completed two separate research studies in 2025 looking leadership success. We work with The University of Minnesota on all of our research. 

Historically, participants received a clear, actionable PDF report. Today, our  The PROFILOR® ADVISOR+ feedback option combines the science of The PROFILOR with the power of AI, allowing people to interact with their feedback and get real-time answers and coaching advice from the ADVISOR feature.

Most implementations using our standard 360s launch in a few days. Custom 360s are usually launched in 3–4 weeks, depending on your requirements and scale.
